The Good
Businesses are learning that leaders who win use data to tell their stories. The art of motivational, authentic storytelling is all about the details, and those details are increasingly about the data. Have you considered what story your data is telling?
The Bad
South Carolina is using transparency to combat the opioid crisis. The Department of Alcohol And Other Drug Abuse Services (DAODAS) has launched an interactive public dashboard that tracks opioid trends across the state.
The Ugly
Did you know that every state develops its data privacy standards independently? This means that companies operating across the United States must contend with 50 different rules. The US Energy & Commerce Committee wants to change that by creating a consistent data privacy standard.
Something to think about
Earth Observation (EO) data is one of the fastest-growing areas of data research. The potential value impact is a whopping $3.8 trillion to the global gross domestic product. Everything from Agriculture to Transportation will be touched.
What industry do you think will see the greatest positive impact from EO data?
